A wise man said, "We do not remember days, we remember moments." Thank heavens that in the midst of these crazy days that make up our life, we have so many wonderful moments worth remembering. My hope is to capture as many of these moments as I can, so I can savor them now and forever.

It's Great to Be Eight!
Delaney tried very hard to prepare herself for her baptism by learning all she could about baptism, understanding what her covenants would mean, and learning about the Savior's baptism. I was very proud of the way that she tried to be ready for such an important step in her life.
Delaney's baptism was a special occasion. It took place just one week after her eighth birthday. She was baptized by her daddy, with Grandpa Jon and Grandpa Steve acting as witnesses. She had both sets of grandparents there, two great-grandmothers and one great- grandfather, as well as lots of aunts, uncles, and her immediate family there celebrating with her. We all gathered together for a special dinner at our house afterward.
Immediately following her baptism, Delaney said, with a huge, beaming smile on her face, "I'm so happy!" We're glad she made the decision to be baptized and receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I hope she always remembers the special feelings she had today.
